Cigar Travel Case: It is Easier Than You May Think

I believe Mark Twain truly loved his cigars since he said, “If smoking isn’t allowed in heaven, I shall not go.” That must be just half the tale, right? “Which cigars or travel humidor to take?” is what’s going through my mind.So lets discover cigar travel case

Whether for work or play, travel is a common occurrence for many of us. Selecting a travel location is simple, but if you smoke cigars, there are always concerns about which cigars and accessories to pack. The first thing one must do is consider how long the trip will go, as I survey my shelves full of cigar travel cases, handbags, zip locks, travel humidors, and all the other accessories one tends to pick up when smoking.

A genuine trip is three days or more, and you will most likely have luggage to store your smoking accessories in. Much more planning goes into packing for a one- to three-day excursion.

I often opt for a holdall or travel suitcase for quick excursions. I feel that carrying a holdall is considerably less cumbersome than carrying a suitcase. It’s simpler to sling it over my shoulder than to drag or lug a bag around to tourist destinations, restaurants, pubs, and, of course, cigar lounges.

This post is most definitely intended for the more experienced smoker who smokes at least one or two cigars every day. As a frequent cigar smoker, I consider more than just myself when I pack cigarettes for a vacation. A world as giving as the cigar world is unknowable to me. I give and receive cigars regularly. Worldwide, BOTL and SOTL, or fellow Brothers and Sisters of the Leaf, are aware of this. 

Sharing your smoke with others is enjoyable; I suppose there is an unspoken rule about that. Of course, how would a novice smoker learn about this if it’s not in writing? Eventually, something will dawn on you via experience, and you’ll realize that you’ve accepted cigars from strangers without offering them back. At that point, you should start selecting additional cigars to trade or give away. Similar to receiving a drink, the idea is for you to return the favor by purchasing a drink for the other person. Usually, I would pack 10–12 cigars for a three-day trip.

Where can I get accessories, then? I usually prefer to purchase my accessories in person since, even with internet images, I have trouble seeing the item. While online shopping is a terrific way to compare costs, there’s nothing quite like feeling the item in person to ensure that it meets your needs and expectations. I had an appointment with Edward Sahakian, the proprietor of Davidoff of London, who assisted me in selecting a few exceptional items from their inventory for this work.

The Cigar Travel Case

A little cigar box that is often made of leather but can also be made of carbon fiber or other exotic materials. You may select from one-, two—, three—, or five-finger cases that are designed to fit inside the interior breast pocket of your jacket. You probably won’t find a five-finger case that fits into your inside pocket if you smoke larger ring gauge cigars (54+), however, it could fit into your outside side pocket. A Falloncuir three-finger Cuban Flag cigar case and a Davidoff XL three-finger cigar case were Edward’s two suggested purchases.

Travel humidifiers

Kurt Van Keppel established the American corporation Xikar in 1994. They are currently considered among the greatest in the cigar accessory industry. They produce cutters, portable humidors, and lighters.

The five, 10, 15, 24, and 50 cigar sizes available in the Xikar Cigar Caddy are plenty for most people—unless you plan to spend more than a month vacationing on an island without a tobacco shop! Though they might not be as elegant as a Dunhill travel humidor, they are quite useful. They are airtight, waterproof, crushproof, and even come with a lifetime warranty (Xikar stands behind all of their products and offers the same guarantee for all of their things).

They are composed of ABS molded plastic. Foam inserts are included to safeguard your priceless cargo. The five (£30.00+) is ideal for a weekend since it allows you to enjoy two each day and give one away. It’s smaller and flatter than the larger ones. I often use a 15-cigar Xikar that I own. If you take out one of the foam inserts, there’s usually enough space here for a few more cigars.
